Our clients (Louisiana residents) were employees of local industries who worked across the street from a federally designated “super fund hazardous waste site”, which contained scores of dangerous chemicals dumped by petro chemical industries (Exxon, Shell, Chevron, and numerous others). Our clients suffered numerous physical ailments, including respiratory, neurological, optical, etc. The case was litigated in both federal and state court, and ultimately, it was designated as a class action. Settlement was reached with the defendants in the amount of 1.5 million dollars.
